For best results, apply on outdoor surfaces if the air temperature is between 45 degrees F (7 degrees C) and 85 degrees F (30 degrees C). Allow four hours drying time before exposing painted pieces to temperatures below 45 degrees F (7 degrees C).
Tips and Tricks
When painting on terra cotta pots that will be used for plants, make sure you paint both the inside and outside of the pot. The inside should be painted solid to prevent moisture from wicking through the pot and making the paint on the outside bubble up.
To antique, apply one coat of Patio Paint and allow to dry. Apply a contrasting colour and while it is still wet, wipe with a damp sponge, leaving the top colour showing in the crevices.
Use with a stencil to create intricate patterns on stone pavers.
Do not apply de-icers or harsh solvents to painted surfaces.
Do not use inside birdbaths, pools, or fountains.
